An inverter is an electronic device capable of converting the Continuous Current (DC) to Alternating Current (CA). Specifically, the GBC range includes 12Vdc to 220Vc inverters, which can be used with common car batteries (cars, camper vans, boats, and small planes) and with the battery packs of small off-grid solar systems. By connecting an inverter to a battery, you get a current similar to the normal domestic current, thus powering a wide range of small household appliances.
This range includes modified sinusoidal wave inverters, with "soft start" technology, which also provide power for low-inductive low voltage induction motors, such as small refrigerators or small suction pumps.
