An inverter is an electronic device capable of converting the Direct Current (CC) to Alternating Current (AC). In particular, the GBC range includes 24Vdc to 220Vac inverters, which can be used with truck and boat batteries, and with the accumulation batteries of small Off Grid solar systems. By connecting an inverter to a battery, a current similar to the normal domestic current is obtained, thus being able to power a wide range of small appliances.
This range includes modified sine wave inverters, equipped with "soft start" technology, which allow the power supply also of equipment with low-power inductive load motors, such as those of small refrigerators or small suction pumps.
The GBC inverters are equipped with a 5Vcc 500mA USB socket for charging mobile phones and smartphones and cables with crocodile clips.
